This idea is such a re-cycling gem. You hang your earrings on a vintage grater. This is one of those practical ideas that you think OMG...why didn't I think of that.
I would strongly urge you however to have more than one grater in the house.

After all you wouldn't want to disturb your earring collection when you suddenly needed to grate a carrot or a potato. No, no, you must resist the urge to double duty your grater in favor of having more than one grater on hand. One grater goes in the kitchen and the other on your vanity table.
