This idea is such a re-cycling gem. You hang your earrings on a vintage grater. This is one of those practical ideas that you think OMG...why didn't I think of that.
I would strongly urge you however to have more than one grater in the house.

After all you wouldn't want to disturb your earring collection when you suddenly needed to grate a carrot or a potato. No, no, you must resist the urge to double duty your grater in favor of having more than one grater on hand. One grater goes in the kitchen and the other on your vanity table. I guess I should title this next idea about how to display vintage costume jewelry "One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest". Remember growing up with hanging bird cages which were mounted from a
stand? Well. lose the cage and keep the stand. Next to buy wire replacement screening and attach it to the hoop frame that the bird cage used to hand from. The end result is a great display for your vintage and costume jewelry.

This gem of an idea was spotted at "Lulu's, A Chick Boutique at 75 Whitfield Street in Guilford, CT.

Look At Objects From All Angles And Perspectives

Peter likes to turn objects around, upside down, sideways, inside out....you get the point.

So here is what Peter did with the toy size ladder he found. He created a bridge with the ladder, attaching it from one object and hooking it to a nearby lampshade. Now he has created a wonderful display for hanging vintage costume jewelry.

Joan is great at expanding an idea so that she is able to give potential buyers so many more ideas that they came into the shop with. And of course in this way, Joan sells a great deal more.

Taking A Look Around Your Shop To Survey What You Have To Use In A Valentines Display Beyond The Usual

She looks around her shop and says to herself..."what goes with Valentines Day ?".......her answer might include...."couples"...."romance"......"Bride and Grooms".... "elegance"....."poetry"......."flowers"......."Victorian"... "beauty" "jewelry".... "perfume bottles" etc. Once she comes up with ideas...she then pulls out all the collectibles that go with her categories.
