Showcase Your Antiques and Collectibles With An Elaborate Centerpiece And Display

Creating A Focal Point

Here's a neat idea if you have the space...create an elaborate "centerpiece" display of showcased items in your booth or shop.

That is what Trish of Domestic Cow Antiques did at a recent show in Glastonbury, CT. This idea not only can be used at indoor shows, but I have seen it work quite well at outdoors shows and markets as well. It helps to "contain" your space and create a warm and inviting look. Another perk is that you can add refreshments to this center table as well as your business card or promotional materials.

Parading Around in A 1950s Apron

While Trish of Domestic Cow Antiques was parading around in a vintage 1950's apron as I was taking photos of her booth. Smack in the center of her booth was this wonderful carefully arranged grouping of antiques and collectibles for sale.

Using a soft blue as the color scheme for her booth, Trish added a burst of color with a spectacular live yellow flower arrangement centered on her special display table. Using the same color blue tablecloths throughout her booth, Trish was able to create a unique "shop" feel what iis on other days a school gymnasium.

Adding Charming Blue Gingham

Sticking with the blue color theme, Trish added a blue gingham fabric to her table which displayed kitchen collectibles. Here she edged the table with her personal collection of vintage hand made pot holders. A border of red, sunflower yellow, green and white crocheted "dresses" and "florals" adds "life" and "charm" to the table of kitchen collectibles.
