Food, Fire, Froth At The Painted Lady in Sandwich, Massachusetts
Step into the door of this cafe in a restored Victorian Bed & Breakfast in Sandwich Village on The Cape and you are immediately surprised at what you will find.
Forget about a dainty table setting with pinks florals and China tea cups. Nope...The Painted Lady's decor is kooky, colorful, and "happy". You are surrounded by quirky artwork with girly themed sayings "Give A Girl The Right Shoes And She'll Conquer The World"
I have sworn not to use the word "whimsical for a few days', BUT how can I tell you about this B&B without my favorite word...w h i m s i c a l ! Take a look at the polka dotted dishes and checked placemats.
The Painted Lady: Delightful Lunch
I was too distracted taking pictures to think about eating. But I finally settled down and ordered a Grilled Salmon Salad. I was worried that the salad would be this itsy bitsy dish that would leave me G-d forbid...starving........OH NO..the Grilled Salmon Salad was a F U L L plate as our young waitress advised. She brought us some home baked bread fresh out of the oven and wwe were in heaven.
