Autumn Light Gallery on Route 44 in Avon, Connecticut (across from Marshall's) is gearing up for an art exhibit show entitled "Renew, Reuse, Re-purpose: The Fine Art of Recycling", which opens tonight, November 12th., 6:00-9:00.
Art Using Vintage Materials
The Kitsch Collector got a chance to preview the show and am very excited to share with you some photos of the wonderful Mixed Media artists that will be exhibiting their work tonight through the holiday season. You will find art made from vintage book parts, antique photos, old boxes, old tins, bottles, doll parts, vintage apothecary bottles, Styrofoam, rocks, twigs, sweaters etc.

Autumn Light is a new gallery which has established itself in the heart fo the Farmington Valley as an Fine Arts venue featuring local and regional artists who are well known in the area. Tonight's show highlights artists who like to merge vintage odds and ends with new materials creating modern interpretations of familiar, yet nostalgic works of art.
